Do I need an account?
No. Reading, search, reading aloud, Ask (解經) and the learning paths all work without one. An account is only for the Together (同行) tab — friends, and reading plans you share with them.
How do I delete my account?
Open the Together (同行) tab, tap Account (帳號), then Delete account (刪除帳號), and choose whether to keep or clear the progress on this phone. This removes your account, friendships, study log and the plans you started from our service, and cannot be undone. Your highlights, notes and bookmarks are not affected.
Where are my highlights and notes kept?
On your iPhone. They are never uploaded to our servers, which is why deleting your account leaves them alone. To have them on your other Apple devices too, turn on iCloud sync.
How do I turn iCloud sync on or off?
In the reader, tap the Aa button at the top and choose Settings…, then under Highlights and saved verses switch Sync with iCloud on or off. It is off until you turn it on, and it syncs through your own iCloud, so this device needs to be signed in to iCloud.
How does the daily verse notification work?
In Settings, under Verse of the Day, turn on Daily verse reminder and choose a time. The notification is the day's verse itself, and it stays quiet on a day you have already read. It is the only notification the app sends. If nothing arrives, allow notifications for Seek&Find in the iOS Settings app.
Reading aloud sounds mechanical. Can it sound better?
iOS includes a compact voice by default and downloads better ones only when asked. On your iPhone, open Settings › Accessibility › Spoken Content › Voices and download an Enhanced or Premium voice for your language. Then choose it in the app under Settings › Reading aloud › Voice.
Why are Catholic, Orthodox and Pentecostal greyed out in Ask?
The cited mode answers only from a commentary it can quote, and no free, machine-readable commentary exists for these three traditions. Catholic commentary of comparable scope is in copyright or exists only as untagged scans. Patristic catenae are not keyed to verses in any open dataset, and Orthodox study Bibles are in copyright. The Pentecostal and charismatic tradition is a twentieth-century one, so almost all of its literature is in copyright.
The three are still listed, so the app does not appear to cover every tradition, and greyed out, so it does not promise a citation that does not exist.
Why isn't the NIV available?
Biblica does not license the NIV through API.Bible or through Express Licensing, and direct permission is a negotiated commercial contract. Seek&Find ships two public-domain texts instead: 新標點和合本 and the Berean Standard Bible, the closest free modern English equivalent. Because both are public domain, the whole text is in the app and works offline.
